Distilleries across the country have stepped up and started producing sanitizer to help with the national shortage. We’ve been working with MGP, our new parent company, and the DC Government to bring sanitizer to those on the front line who need it most.
We’ll keep you updated as we finalize all the details.

Last Friday we made the tough decision to shut down our bar and garden in order to keep you and our staff safe. Since then we’ve gotten a number of questions about bottle sales.
The good news is we are still making deliveries to our local retail accounts and we encourage you to keep supporting these local accounts through curbside pickup and delivery options where available.
If you’d prefer to support us directly, we have gift cards for sale. You can purchase a gift card by phone by calling us at (202) 733-1710 and we will mail the gift card to you.
Stay safe and continuing doing all you can to #flattenthecurve.

As a follow-up to our announcement yesterday, and given the national state of emergency that was just announced this afternoon, we are closing the Tasting Room and Patio at New Columbia Distillers effective immediately. This closure will remain in effect until such time that the virus is under control and social distancing is not a mandated practice.
We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to hosting our friends and neighbors in the very near future.
Stay healthy. Be well,
The Green Hat Gin Team

In consideration of the continuing concern regarding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), we are writing to let you know that we are temporarily postponing our bottling parties. In addition, we are postponing tours and suspending the free tastings, in order to protect the production area.
We are taking this action in order to protect both our loyal consumers and fans as well as our employees.
We will be keeping our retail bar and patio open in the interim, and will be monitoring the course of the virus and following local governmental direction as it pertains to large public gatherings.
We apologize for this inconvenience, but as a production facility, we feel that you all will understand why we have taken this action and that the ultimate priority to you, our consumers and our team, is safety.
For those groups that have already secured reservations at the Distillery, we will hold your place in line and will let you know as soon as we resume the bottling parties.
Thank you for understanding.
Regards,
The Green Hat Gin Team
